Located in Pennedepie, just outside Honfleur, this 17th-century manor house embodies the purest Norman tradition. Nestled in 7 hectares of meadows and orchards, the property has been owned since 2018 by Grégory and Alexandra Guinard, who undertook a major restoration to restore it to its former glory. It’s a resounding success. The mansion once again boasts its sumptuous wood-and-slate façade, behind which lie 27 rooms and suites that blend classic and contemporary styles (fireplaces, period hardwood floors, and designer furniture by Roche Bobois). Determined to offer their guests all the amenities of a 4-star hotel, the couple has also added a spa, an outdoor pool, and a restaurant, Le Capucine, which serves local cuisine on a terrace overlooking the sea as soon as the warm weather arrives. Without a doubt, one of the best places to stay on the Normandy coast.
