Gault&Millau's review 2025

Nature lovers swear by this bucolic refuge just minutes from Honfleur, surrounded by 5 hectares of gardens overgrown with wisteria, roses and hydrangeas. In the middle of it all, 6 Norman buildings (manor house, dovecote...) dating from the 14th and 15th centuries house vast suites extended by lounges, all decorated by Laureen de Rouvre, who has preserved the old oak and terracotta floors, adding antique furniture, works of art and precious fabrics. It's an ideal family home, where days can be spent discovering the vegetable garden, taking cooking or gardening lessons, going for rides with the kids on the estate's ponies, not to mention a few lengths in the private swimming pool for the manor's guests. The best is yet to come with Norman chef Jérôme Billochon's cuisine, rooted in regional traditions and skilfully reinterpreted.
