Straight from Belgium, Tom Van De Velde and Wim Louage fell in love with this small village on the edge of the Queyras, a nature paradise and Europe's highest regional park. Keen to preserve the region's traditions and architecture, they have brought this former 16th-century priory back to life, creating a perfect dialogue between local spirit and more contemporary chic. The 4 guest rooms (and 2 gîtes) are decorated with designer furniture (Wassily chair, Le Corbusier banquette...), some of which have preserved splendid historic vaults that can also be found in the former cellar, now transformed into a spa. The living-dining room is warmed by an old-fashioned wood-burning stove, perfect for tackling the rigors of winter, and extends onto a lovely terrace where you can enjoy Tom and Wim's cuisine as soon as the sun rises. A rustic chic place, perfect for enjoying the slopes of Vars or Risoul in winter, and exploring the regional park and the magnificent Guil gorges in summer.
