Housed in the former Ségur telephone exchange, built in 1899, on Avenue de Saxe in the 7th arrondissement, SAX Paris was inaugurated in April 2025 by LXR Hotels & Resorts (Hilton), the result of a renovation led by Niio Architecture and Philippe Starck. From the moment you step into the majestic lobby, the Iconic Galerie captivates with its 200 mirrors, Baccarat chandeliers, and red velvet benches, evoking the atmosphere of an arty ocean liner cabin. The 118 rooms and suites blend graphic marble, light wood, leather, and ethnic-style cushions; all feature floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic televisions, with some offering views of the Eiffel Tower or the interior garden. Two restaurants define the property: Restaurant SAX, set beneath an urban fresco and featuring a French-style garden, led by Executive Chef David Maroleau; and Kinugawa Rive Gauche on the rooftop, serving Franco-Japanese haute cuisine with miso-glazed black cod as its signature dish. The long club-bar, the heated garden with a pool and jacuzzi, and the SAX Le Club Spa (sauna, hammam, 24-hour fitness center) round out the concept of a complete lifestyle destination.
