Gault&Millau's review 2025

Located in the Auteuil neighborhood of the 16th arrondissement, at the intersection of Rue Ribéra and Rue Jean de La Fontaine, this 4-star boutique hotel spans four floors, featuring ornate moldings, marble fireplaces, herringbone parquet floors, and carefully curated furnishings. The renovation and addition were entrusted to the firm RE|NAISSANCE Les Architectes; the interior design is by Jordane Arrivetz—who also designed the Hôtel Nuage, the Bonnie, and Ciro’s Cannes—who infuses the space with a reimagined, chic, and distinctive Haussmannian style. Each of the 27 rooms evokes a different atmosphere; some feature balconies with views of the Eiffel Tower, and all are stocked with Lola James Harper toiletries. At the Noucha restaurant, Chef Kevin Hamon—who trained under Mathieu Pacaud at Apicius, among others—creates rustic yet refined, seasonal cuisine featuring delicate and light sauces. Sunday brunch, a lush hanging garden, a library-lounge, a veranda terrace, and event spaces: a family home that feels as much like a place to live as it does a place to stay, named after Noucha, the grandmother of Samuel Gelrubin, grandson of the original owners.
