Gault&Millau's review 2025

A favorite refuge for artists and VIPs visiting Cannes for the festival, this must-see palace was something of a sleeping beauty. Architect Pierre-Yves Rochon has restored it to its former glory, preserving the Art Deco spirit while adding a contemporary wing in Mediterranean blue and white, a bar and a lovely garden. As for the rest, loyal guests will find the charm of the 410 rooms and suites, the chic spa, the private beach and the delights of the La Palme d'Or restaurant, run by Christian Sinicropi, intact. All this in the heart of festive, vibrant Cannes, on the mythical Boulevard de la Croisette and just a stone's throw from the harbour where luxury yachts and fishing boats dock.
