In the heart of the Hautes-Vosges, in La Bresse, the scale remains intimate. The Chalet des Roches, a family-run 3-star hotel with 21 rooms, is nestled between the mountains and the valley. From double to quadruple rooms, each one features its own unique decor and view—of the peaks or the valley, depending on the windows. Just a few minutes from the slopes and hiking trails, the hotel makes the great outdoors its guiding principle: a heated indoor pool overlooking the valley, a sauna, and, above all, a rare hammam, whose floor-to-ceiling window opens directly onto the Vosges landscapes. When it comes to dining, the restaurant-bar focuses on hearty cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, to be enjoyed in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the valley.
