Gault&Millau's review 2025

Not far from the citadel and the stunning white-sand beaches of Calvi, La Signoria is a historic Genoese building that has been converted into a hotel offering refined luxury, nestled in the heart of the maquis. An azure-blue pool, a perfectly appointed beach, a spa offering treatments from the Corsican brand Casanera, a restaurant, and grounds filled with pine trees and palm trees combine to create one of the island’s most alluring hotel experiences (a member of Relais & Châteaux). All that’s left is to choose your retreat from among the 30 rooms, suites, apartments, and villas designed by Jean-Baptiste Ceccaldi, all of which offer refined luxury with antique furniture, natural materials, and magnificent views of the grounds and the surrounding mountains.
