In the ultra-chic Madeleine neighborhood, the Hôtel Florida occupies a Haussmann-style corner building, recently transformed by Matthieu Dumas in collaboration with the firm Liautard & the Queen. The hotel, a haven for Fitzgerald and Hemingway during the “Roaring Twenties,” was reimagined in 2024: 39 rooms and suites, each designed like an apartment, featuring floral wallpaper, brass, marble, and vintage ’70s furniture, all enveloped in a signature scent created by Rami Makdachi of Lola James Harper. Among the suites, the “Florida Suite,” with a balcony and a view of the Eiffel Tower, embodies the successful blend of Art Deco heritage and ’70s pop culture. On the ground floor, Chef Amandine Chaignot presides over the Nepita restaurant, where hearty Mediterranean cuisine complements the venue’s chic, casual dining vibe, featuring 300 wines from independent winemakers.
