Gault&Millau's review 2025

One of Brittany's most sought-after addresses, a member of the Relais & Châteaux collection. In the heart of Finistère, nestled at the end of a cove that's as discreet as it is luminous, this beautiful hotel built in 1895 has preserved its family home spirit, and is now run by Charlotte and Yoann Noël, who welcome every guest as a friend. You'll settle into one of the 20 cosy rooms and suites, with sumptuous views over the hydrangea-filled gardens or the sandy beach. Close to the ocean, the hotel is ideally located for exploring the Bay of Douarnenez, via the customs trail (GR 34). Unless you prefer to take part in the many activities on offer (heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, mountain bikes available), before heading to the restaurant overlooking the sea, where you can sample Yoann Nöel's ocean cuisine.
