If you're a lover of history and fine wines, this is the place for you! Set on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Lot river and the Cahors vineyards, this medieval château, flanked by two towers, is home to some 30 cosy, luxurious rooms with antique furniture and toile de Jouy tapestries. Guests come here for the splendor of the premises (with a special mention for the ancient chapel bathed in the soft light of stained glass windows), for the gastronomic experience at the château's prestigious table led by chef Julien Poisot and, last but not least, to discover the cathedral-like cellars where the famous Malbec grand cru is produced. As a member of Relais & Châteaux, the château is a holiday in itself, offering a thousand activities: swimming pool, tennis court, spa, not forgetting tasting the Grands Vins Seigneurs de Cahors.
