In the heart of Quimper's historic district and on the banks of the Odet River, this hotel, inaugurated in 2018, is housed in one of the city's most beautiful buildings, the Locmaria priory. The latter has been restored under the supervision of Bâtiments de France, which in particular prescribed the large wrought-iron grille, created by a wrought-iron craftsman, to adorn the façade. Keen to preserve the nobility of the premises, owners Catherine and Hervé Laurent worked with local cabinetmakers to decorate the 20 rooms and suites with furniture they designed themselves, all enhanced by luminous tones. Some, extended by small terraces, open onto the medieval garden (listed as a Remarkable Garden) and the river, others onto the inner courtyard bordered by the large priory building. On the first floor, the spa (with hammam, sauna, sensory shower and massage cabins) has also been installed to offer guests all the services of a 4-star hotel. Not to mention the magic of this unique location...
