At the gateway to Bordeaux, Château Le Pape sits at the heart of a nine-hectare vineyard, owned by Robert Wilmers, who also presides over the fortunes of nearby Château Haut-Bailly. Built in the XVIIIᵉ century and now transformed into a guest house, this elegant chartreuse brings together just five luxurious rooms and suites, decorated with antique furniture and extended by beautiful bathrooms - all overlooking, for some, large terraces with a 180° view of the vineyards and swimming pool. There's no restaurant here, but a beautiful dining room where you can enjoy tasty breakfasts and, in the evening, a "Chef's plate", prepared to order. Gourmets are also welcome to dine at the Table Privée at nearby Château du Haut-Bailly, subject to reservation (four people).
