Gault&Millau's review 2025

On the elegant Place de la Madeleine, Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris opened its doors in September 2018 in two Haussmann buildings - former headquarters of the Fauchon house, founded in 1886 by Auguste Fauchon - redesigned by Richard Martinet and Atelier Paluel-Marmont. With 33 rooms and 21 suites, it combines powder pink and black velvet elegance with a gourmet spirit: the "Gourmet Bar" hotel minibar by Sacha Lakic, 24-hour brasserie and Carita spa. It's a temple to gourmet pleasures, true to the hedonistic heritage of Fauchon. The Suite Prestige offers a spectacular view of the neoclassical church of the same name, while the Grand Café becomes a five-a-seven bar-snack bar during the day.
