Gault&Millau's review 2025

Laurent and Philippe Davalo decided to make their mark on a château built in the 16th century, where time has since brought its share of changes. Indeed, the 21st century is not to be outdone, and it will have taken almost 4 years, at least half of which was spent on construction work, to see it endowed with a modern black extension, a counterpart to the whiteness of the château's stonework. The hotel, which opened at the end of 2024, features 71 rooms and suites overlooking the estate's gardens and forest. The colors are a quator: black, gold, bench and beige. The hotel also boasts a gourmet restaurant with chef Olivier Samson, a bar run by mixologists and a spa (treatments by Ella Baché). The hotel also caters for receptions, seminars and other special events.
