Gault&Millau's review 2025

Marie-Françoise and Thomas Dicker fell in love with this former hemp-growing estate, with its 18th-century chateau-like building, its orangery and its immense park... Transformed into a 5-star hotel by the couple in 1988, the premises now exude a discreet elegance, as do the 29 rooms and suites, where refinement is hidden in every detail: exceptional bedding, fine Jouy fabrics and views over the 12-hectare park, refreshed by a large swimming pool. The spa is nearby, as are the fitness center and tennis courts. After a session of sport or relaxation, all that's left to do is sample the delights of the chic bistro Le Petit Jardin, nestled under a large glass roof, or one of the gourmet menus of the restaurant Le Botaniste, led by chef Didier Robin. Night owls won't want to miss Zanzibar, a speakeasy where you can enjoy excellent cocktails.
