Gault&Millau's review 2025

In Montigny-le-Bretonneux, on the edge of the Chevreuse Valley, a charming inn housed in a former outbuilding of the Port-Royal des Champs Abbey, retaining its golden-hued stonework and bucolic charm. Exposed beams, warm tones, cherry wood furniture, and four-poster beds in some rooms—a total of 45 cozy and serene retreats, nestled in this lush green setting. The property also features a gourmet restaurant led by Chef Machado Armindo, who creates dishes inspired largely by Mediterranean and Provençal cuisine, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
