Gault&Millau's review 2025

On the edge of the Vallée de Chevreuse, this charming inn is housed in a former outbuilding of the Port-Royal des Champs abbey, retaining its blond stonework and bucolic charm. Exposed beams, warm tones, cherry-wood furniture and four-poster beds in some rooms. Everything here has been thought out to offer a cosy, serene stay... and a gourmet one, since the place also houses a fine table led by chef Machado Armindo, who concocts a largely Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Enjoy your meal on the terrace overlooking the refreshing park with its pond.
