In Cape Verde, to give the illusion that the rum had been aged in casks, dragon tree sap was added. This is the case for this cuvée, and it's quite stunning. The nose is pure cane juice, full of fruit (banana and quince), followed by notes of dried herbs, pine, cocoa and white truffle. The palate is lifted by a sensation of red pepper and earthy aromas. The texture is round and silky, with a straight edge. The palate is always fresh. What a pleasure!
