Right from the start, it's expressive, with notes of cherry, fig, jasmine, white pepper and clove. Barrel ageing gives the rum a slight tannic texture that lends chewiness, followed by a smooth texture that supports aromas of vanilla, sandalwood and dried fruit. A pleasure to return to.
