A rum aged in Aubagne in casks containing Beaumes-de-Venise Muscat. This gives it a dark color and great complexity, with aromas of eucalyptus, Oolong tea, tangerine, fresh grapes and waxed wood. On the palate, the alcohol (47°) provides structure but remains caressing. It's frank, fruity (grapefruit) and slightly pastry-like, like a lovely dessert of roasted pear, vanilla ice cream and caramel. The cedar and licorice finish adds complexity, freshness and elegance.
