Gault&Millau's review
Gelateria Ice creams and sorbets are all the rage. Marron glacé, salted butter caramel, three-spice; but also dômes (pineapple-ginger-cinnamon), flowery and fruity vacherins or entremets (individual or shared) are a real moment of indulgence. There's also the traditional plombière that nobody makes any more, with candied fruit and kirsch. As for sorbets, green apple and pear stand out from the crowd. Stores open in the 5th and 6th arrondissements.
