Gault&Millau's review

Bakery A star of the baking world—and a modest one at that: Alex Croquet is one of a kind, an artisan who has won over northern France and is recognized and admired by his peers. His shop on Rue Esquermoise deserves praise and acclaim. The bread is a marvel, made with carefully tended natural sourdough, but the other items are also worth taking home—cramique, pouding, flan, and all the pastries, including rhubarb tart and savory leek tart.
