Gault&Millau's review

Bakery Patrice Monchaussé is a perfectionist. Located in downtown Meaux, this elegant boutique suits his meticulous attention to detail, and customers are very grateful. La Maison was voted best baguette in Seine et Marne in 2001 and best croissant in 2005, but he doesn't let that stop him. The son of a baker, he says he fell into flour as a child. No doubt a trigger for this incorrigible enthusiast.
