Winemaker
Le Caveau de Bacchus is the vineyard created by Lucien Aviet, nicknamed "Bacchus" by his friends. A great man of the Jura who passed away in May 2021! For over 50 years, he made wine on this 6-hectare estate in the Arbois appellation, in the commune of Montigny-lès-Arsures. His son, Vincent Aviet, now runs the winery. He vinifies and ages all their vintages in tuns, and the bottles are waxed. We can still taste his 1990 trousseau... All the wines age wonderfully.
