Beekeeper Just outside Château Chinon, follow the signs for "Lac des Settons", and a few steps further on you'll arrive at this family-run business, run by Dominique and Jean-Jacques Coppin, with some 800 hives, right in the heart of the Morvan nature park. The environment is as green as you could wish, and the honeys are perfect, certified organic and widely awarded medals at the Concours Général Agricole: fir honey, acacia honey, borage honey, organic royal jelly. Gingerbread, honey mead sweets and milk-skin cake (a good grandma's recipe) are all homemade. Visit the honey house.
