Rostellec, at the heart of the Crozon peninsula, is an oyster farm at the end of the world, nestled in a marine setting. Since 1984, the Diverrès family has been cultivating oysters and other treasures of the sea, perpetuating exceptional oyster farming know-how. Today, Guénolé and his wife have taken up the torch with passion, giving pride of place to the creuse oyster, a veritable pearl of Breton waters, bred in the Brest roadstead. This unique environment, where seawater and freshwater blend harmoniously, gives the oysters an unrivalled flavor, between iodine intensity and a delicate hint of hazelnut. To achieve this perfection, they are pampered for three years, receiving attentive care at every stage of their growth. The farm also offers a wide variety of shellfish: bouchot mussels, clams and periwinkles, all raised with the same patience and know-how. These exceptional products can be found on the markets of Crozon and Lanvéoc, or directly on site, as part of a short sales circuit. A gourmet getaway not to be missed! You can find Les Huîtres de Rostellec on the markets of the Presqu'île de Crozon: on the Crozon market 7 days a week in the morning in July and August, and on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings the rest of the year, on the Lanvéoc market once a month on Friday afternoons.
