Gault&Millau's review

Fine grocery Sébastien Maucarré, originally from Brittany, moved to Saint-Marcellin in 2007 with his wife. This wine scholar, who has worked in prestigious houses (Matignon, Lucas-Carton...), set his sights on this former chapel of the Carmes convent. A spiritual place where wine can uplift the soul? In concrete terms, the choice is vast, from €8 to €2,300 a bottle, an emotional selection complemented by Spanish, German and other wines. Oenology classes to teach the basics, and an equally fine selection of cheeses to accompany the wine.
