More than a century after its founding, Le Succès Berckois remains a staple of the confectionery world. Jean-Yves Matifas, representing the fourth generation, is even considered the last of the confectionery “dinosaurs.” His specialty is the berlingot, which he makes right there in the heart of the store. He produces dozens of varieties (banana, bergamot, champagne, mint, cherry, strawberry) and sells them in bags or tin boxes. Round out your purchase with marshmallows, licorice rolls, lollipops, and caramels.
