Tourists aren't as quick as Nantes locals to pick up on the allusion in the sign, but this café-turned-bakery has succeeded in its transformation. From 7 a.m. onwards, customers flock here for breakfast viennoiserie and fresh baguettes, followed by pastries for lunch and afternoon tea, and then home in the evening with sourdough bread made from stone-ground flours, in an attractive bakery workshop setting.
