Butchery Just a stone's throw from the Place de la Nation is a resolutely modern butcher's shop, starting with its name. In 2005, John Gillot created this butcher's shop that breaks the mould and reinvents the butcher's trade. La Boucherie Moderne is also a responsible butcher's shop, with a commitment to each of its partner breeders to purchase whole animals. This approach is designed to make the most of every part of the animal, so that the supplier doesn't end up with the lowest quality cuts. From Normandy pork and beef to Limousin veal and Poitevin lamb, you'll find the best of France in this boutique, and excellence on your plate. Here, it's your taste buds and your eyes that will guide you. Open Tuesday morning to Sunday lunchtime.
