Warning: this tea and snack bar is simply addictive! And why? Thanks to the talent of its owner, Vinxente Andrieu, who joined forces with Yoan Halfon in the summer of 2023. This young pastry chef, a former candidate on M6's Objectif Top Chef, won a bronze medal at the Meilleur Apprenti de France and 4th place at the Championnat de France du Dessert, in 2022. He's all the rage with his trompe-l'œil desserts, including mango and peanut, his Signature pastries and the only ones in the Mériadeck district and Bordeaux, for the time being. Such is his success that he is planning to expand his laboratory to meet demand, which is approaching 500 pieces a day. The store also serves seasonal savoury treats (bagels, croque-Monsieur, salads, etc.). As for the pastries, for which the company is famous, they are low in sugar and very generous, just like the rest of the range, which can be eaten in or out. Special mention goes to the personalized cakes, as beautiful as they are delicious, for which Vinxente has the secret. L'Écrin Sucré is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
