Bastien Girard is both loyal and stubborn. After enjoying great success (he brought France the title of World Pastry Champion with his team in 2017) and setting up his first pastry shop in his home town of Tournon, two years ago he and his wife Margaux opened a second unit on Avenue Victor Hugo, famous for hosting the great Maison Pic, which he once frequented alongside Anne-Sophie Pic and MOF and World Champion Philippe Rigollot. Intense, of course, his patisserie is an ode to gourmandise, with finesse and gustatory intensity, particularly in chocolate, but also in entremets, tarts, cakes, macaroons..
