Chocolate factory Jean-Yves Kermarec, born and bred in Brittany, is a chocolatier of conviction. The son of restaurateurs, he grew tired of cooking when he discovered the creative scope of pastry-making, and in particular of working with cocoa. In 2002, he opened his first boutique in Brest, a great adventure that culminated in his first bonbon "Béniguet", named after an island off the Ouessan archipelago. Since then, a succession of creations has followed: Brest (flaky praline), Manureva (black ganache), mini-tablet reglettes... Other addresses: 70 rue Jean Jaurès and 13 rue Duquesne.
