Bakery
The Bara bakery (meaning “bread” in Breton) has changed its name but not its owner. Timothy Breton is still at the helm of this bakery, which now offers a redesigned and expanded selection. The lineup includes the Félicita baguette, six-grain bread, bread with pumpkin seeds, figs, and apricots, and einkorn wheat bread. As for pastries, there are cinnamon rolls, flaky raisin bread, and—true to its Breton roots—kouign-amann. The Paris-Brest and Saint-Honoré are also still on the menu.
