Distillery The Denoix company, which was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label in 2007, was founded in 1839 in the heart of the town. Since then, four generations of liqueur-makers have succeeded one another (most recently Sylvie Denoix-Vieillefosse and her husband Laurent). Their carefully handed-down recipes showcase the region's finest products: quinquinoix (an aperitif made from oak-aged walnut juice), quince liqueur, armagnac liqueur and bitter orange peel... Visit the old still, cauldrons and tuns involved in the production process.
