Delmontel on Rue des Martyrs, of course! In this beautiful historic building on the corner stands the mouthwatering shop of a renowned baker and pastry chef. The “Tradition” baguette is a crowd favorite and award-winning; the specialty organic sourdough breads come highly recommended; and the pastries are, of course, top-notch: large macarons, “Eclat” chocolate mousse, lemon tart, flan, crumble tart, as well as cookies, far, and financiers… There’s also a wide selection of savory items, including sandwiches, salads, savory tarts, and quiches…
