The art of the knife goes hand in hand with the history of Chamonix. Didier Simond, a trained carpenter and ski instructor, has made this tradition his own, out of love for the object. He carves the woods of his region, some of which are extremely rare and harvested at high altitude, to give the handle the appearance of Mont Blanc. He constantly innovates in terms of shapes and materials, making each piece unique.
