Clos Salomon takes its name from the Salomon family, who settled in Givry in the 14th century. In 1632, the Clos passed into the hands of the de Chanay family, ancestors of the du Gardin de Séveirac family, the current owners and operators. The vineyard consists of a clos, a historic monopoly of 6.98 ha of givry rouge premier cru, plus 2.6 ha (two parcels) of chardonnay. Today, Ludovic du Gardin and Fabrice Perrotto are at the helm.
