It's one of the emblematic estates of Provence's trendy rosé breakthrough. But the estate, which has been around for almost three centuries, is one of the properties to have been "elevated" to the rank of Côtes de Provence cru classé as early as 1955. The estate and the Matton family remain faithful to their history, and continue to cultivate tibouren, a typically local grape variety. The vineyards cover the hillsides of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, in the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula.
