Description
Gelateria Located on the Place des Menhirs in the port of Gruissan, Candy Ice - Glacier-Bar-Crêperie - is an institution. Today, Armand is at the head of the business created by his parents 15 years ago. Armand, his mom and his team welcome you to their terrace, shaded by two magnificent palm trees. You'll be seduced by the family atmosphere, of course, but above all by the 36 flavors of ice creams and sorbets (made by a local Master ice cream maker), ideally assembled in cups and devoured with the eyes before an explosion of flavors in the mouth. In addition to these frozen delights, the company also offers a number of galettes. Two new products in 2024 are a vegetarian buckwheat galette (ratatouille, egg and Emmental cheese) and a tasty Carbo (smoked bacon, Parmesan and crème fraîche). Sweet crêpes are just as appealing, like the Sneakers with a scoop of peanut ice cream, homemade chocolate sauce and salted caramel coulis, topped with whipped cream. Candy Ice is all about know-how and family recipes at the service of gustatory pleasure. A word to the wise! Some treats are available to take away. Open 11am to 6:30pm, 7 days a week.
