From the 18th century to 1926, the historic brewery at Le Cateau Abbey brewed up to 12,000 hectolitres a year. After its closure, it took seventy-five years for the brewery to be reborn. Today, the ancient brewery offers some fifteen different beers, some classics and others specials, such as bière cuivrée aux morilles, blanc à l'hibiscus and cuivrée des sous-bois.
