The Flayol bakery and patisserie has been a fixture in Monêtier-les-Bains for over 35 years. After the parents, it's now five years since the children, Marine and Anthony, took over from their parents. Born into this world, they naturally took over the business with the same concern for quality and traceability. PDO butters, Madagascan vanilla, organic flours from a mill in Embrun... The raw materials are selected and the craftsmanship preserved. Here, we allow the fermentation process to take its course. The result: crisp, well-celled bread that keeps well. Here, you'll rediscover a taste for traditional viennoiseries and brioches, and forget the industrial stuff. We melt for a Bûcheron, a special multi-grain bread, and let ourselves be tempted by a homemade pastry. The caramel walnut tart, the homemade flan and the blueberry tart are a real winner! On site, on the terrace or indoors, you can also take a snack break and end up with a walnut shortbread! The house also serves the valley's 4-star hotels. Please note: in the off-season, the establishment is closed on Tuesdays.
