Bakery In July 2024, Mathieu, Carole and Fanny took over the Hortense bakery. by selling up, our former boss wanted to preserve an artisanal spirit," they explain. That's why he trusted us. Using organic flours for its baguettes and special breads, the team offers a wide variety of pastries and viennoiseries, changing regularly. Lime cheesecake and Banoffee (crisp base, fresh bananas, milk jam, whipped cream and cinnamon) sit alongside creamy praline roll-ups and raspberry croissants... not forgetting the great classics of French tradition. Burgers, pizzas and hot dishes (concocted by a chef) use fresh, local produce, with vegetarian and halal dishes always on offer. The comfortable sofas in the dining room and the tree-lined garden terrace are perfect for sampling the house specialties... especially during the Saturday brunch, which includes savory sweets, pastries, toast, a hot drink and freshly squeezed orange juice. And, if you arrive after closing time, head for the pizza vending machine! Open Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
