Just outside Grenoble, a well-stocked display of everything, presented by a very friendly, polite and efficient sales assistant. The traditional baguette is perfect, crisp on the outside, well floured, with a pleasant bitterness and well risen. The special corn bread is remarkable, with a perfect taste and a length that evokes curry, as well as a good softness-crispness ratio. The goat's spinach quiche is superb, well baked and crisp, the filling delicate, neither too dry nor too moist, with two beautiful slices of goat's cheese and delicious spinach. The chocolate chip brioche is airy, soft and well buttered.
