Cécile Ballauri, a ceramist for three years, has rediscovered in pottery a glimmer of her former profession as a mountain guide. The sensibility emanating from her uncluttered, mineral creations has won over the region's chefs, including Damien Leveau and Jean Sulpice. The artist continues to climb the Mer de Glace two or three times a year to collect sand, preserving the link with nature that gives each of his pieces a unique identity.
