Description
Producer Bernard & Fils has been producing Bouchot mussels for over 120 years. Visiting tourists love stopping off at this Pénestin family institution, where Adrien is now in the fifth generation. After meticulous packaging, come and buy traditional or ready-to-cook retail mussels. You'll also be tempted by oysters from the Loc'ker fishpond (Golfe du Morbihan). The company also supplies wholesalers, supermarkets, fishmongers and delicatessens. Being able to hear the producer talk about the mussel and give tasting tips is what customers expect. An almost obligatory ritual, from July to November! A sustainable business, Bernard & Fils also works with a factory in Pénestin, responsible for processing mussels with shells less than 12 millimeters thick. And don't forget this year's new product, Patamoule (a mussel spread), which should surprise your friends' palates for a creative, high-quality aperitif!
