Chocolate factory Maison Bernachon is to Lyon craftsmanship what Bocuse is to local catering. Founded by Maurice, son Philippe has now taken over production with his sisters Candice and Stéphanie. This renowned house has now established a foothold in Paris. Bernachon is one of the few chocolate houses to manufacture its own chocolates. This is known as bean-to-bar, for those who work from the seed to the ready-to-eat bar. In the Signature range, the chocolate is made from a blend of 10 cocoa varieties that define the Bernachon taste.
