Gault&Millau's review
Pastry
Former ski champion Jacqueline Fattier and pastry chef Jean-Philippe opened Aux Petits Gourmands in 1987, but on a more modest street. A move to Chamonix's biggest shopping street and a wedding later, their business is a great success. Among the delicacies is the house creation: the 4810, a delicious chocolate bonbon filled with old-fashioned praline, hazelnut and feuilletine, whose shape, designed by sculptor Patrick Böhm, recalls the summit of the Aiguille-du-Midi and the Bossons glacier. Other addresses include avenue de l'Aiguille-du-Midi and rue Joseph Vallot for Chalet 4810.
