René Pinardel went from painting to catering and butchering. He's no stranger to twists and turns, and he's not afraid of innovation. Owner of the butcher's shop where he has worked for over twenty years, he opened a restaurant on the first floor of his store to offer a taste of good meat, and to encourage customers to cross the store to discover the pieces of the house. The gamble paid off, with restaurant customers enjoying themselves on the spot, and coming back to buy butcher's preparations.
