Wine merchant
In the village of the famous monk, Au 36 is less a restaurant than a tasting table. In a decor that's both elegant and subtly rustic, the house offers a champagne tasting (two or three flutes) accompanied by a tapas-style plate of local fare, such as potato cake and Reims ham, pâté en croûte, Champagne lentils and chaource on bread.
